Clean Energy Technology

Ecotera Energy specializes in developing innovative power generation and energy-efficient technologies. The Ecotera team is committed to commercializing cost-effective, environmentally friendly, sustainable energy technologies.

Ecotera is developing the patented Thermochemical Energy Conversion (TEC) Turbine Engine. This closed-cycle gas turbine uses a chemically active working fluid to convert heat into power. The TEC concept promises compact, multi-fuel, highly efficient, quiet turbine engines that outperform existing internal combustion engine technologies and significantly enhance the performance of turbine engines.
The TEC engine is expected to provide an advanced earth-friendly alternative to traditional internal combustion engines. Since the TEC engine will run from any heat source, it is not dependent on a specific fuel. TEC engines can be configured to efficiently use conventional fossil fuels such as diesel, natural gas or gasoline, and also renewable fuels such as biomass, methane, ethanol, hydrogen and even concentrated solar thermal energy.
